Not yet 3 months, but already I owned these.Theres one missing.The novel that I currently reading, The Notebook written by Nicolas Spark. The travel guide was bought in M'sia. But, unfortunately, buying books at WHSmith London, and Borders aren't giving U any paper bag or plastic carrier. Luckily I brought a big bag for these. If in Msia, the Kinokuniya will offer a 10MYR bon d'achat or coupon when we bought net price book of 100MYR. But here, no such thing. Although I spent almost 40Pounds. Equals to 280MYR. But the book, The Gift by Cecilia Ahern is cool. I haven't started reading 'em yet.
Talking about books. Or stationaries. I am a default by nature, feeling uneasy if anyone wants to borrow ma books or ma stationaries. Because, well, I dislike dog-ear pages and when it get yellowish, I get irk. Thats why I like buying and owning them. Although mum has always nagged us to stop bringing books home, we would never listen.Blame father for his trait that we all love reading.
Ini baru umur belasan tahun*ehem*,already I feel miserable moving apart without some of the books. Shopaholic series to be precise. And those NGeo and La Gourmet that I've been keeping for years. Magazines lagi.What will happen in 10 years time? Will ma house fully loaded with books? What with le boyfwen yg mmg juga a book collector and an avid reader of politics and history? Combine, we can build a library! Selling them isn't a choice.
P/S:I do miss visiting bookstore.And if U think of buying me a gift, books never failed to makes me smile.

I was astonished. By TV3 ignorance. Their host for Wanita Hari Ini (WHI) 6 November 2008. They invited Abby Abadi to discuss and share her experience and in other word, korek rahsia about her recent divorce issue. A really recent issue. Still pending at Sharie Court.
Why don't I think asking questions like ;
1.Apa impian Abby yang tak kesampaian tu?

She cried. And the host kept on asking questions and the camera focus on her,weeping tears and trying her very best not to be rude answering their questions.
In my opinion, they aren't supposed to ask sensitive questions and FOCUS on her when she cried. Thats inhumane, irrelevant, and insensitive. Where are their feelings? Where are their sensitivity about a recent-divorcee feelings?
Sama lah jugak when it was a story or report on accidents.The reporters would purposely asking questions that is very annoying and purposely zoom and focus on those sad, miserable faces.
They are in sadness, misery and feeling down. Aren't we supposed to be more sensitive? Is this how Malaysian medias express their creativity or creating fake creativity to invite and attract heartless feeling on sensitive issues?

Baru-baru ni saya tgk Buletin Utama.2 hari lepas.Ada topik mengenai tayangan video 'Sajak Kematian' di sekolah rendah. Topik ni menimbulkan pelbagai reaksi dari semua pihak.
Ada yg setuju. Ada yang tak setuju.Saya google la tajuk ni.Banyak forum diskusi tentang topik ni.Jadi sebagai bakal pendidik, saya rasa saya punya pendirian sendiri.
Kalau nak tgk,benda ni berkaitan dgn semua org. Jadi tak boleh nak pandang sebelah mata je.
Untuk pengetahuan semua, video 'Sajak Kematian' ni telah ditayangkan di beberapa sekolah rendah di Malaysia. Intipati video ni ialah berkenaan dengan alam barzakh @ selepas kematian.Dalam video tu ade ilustrasi dlm kubur. Seksaan kubur la.
Bagi sy yg dah berumur 20 tahun, bakal jdi pengamal pendidikan ni pun sy rasa takut bila tgk. Yang betul2 kenal rapat dgn sy, tahun kenapa sy sgt sensitif dgn kematian.Sixth sense kah sy?Tak kot.
Memanglah mengingati saat kematian itu perlu,tetapi perlu kah cara ini digunakan pada kanak-kanak? Sejauh manakah keberkesanan video itu? Sampaikah mesej sebenar pada kanak-kanak? Apa kesan tayangan video ni pada kanak-kanak tersebut? Takutkah mereka?Atau taat kah mereka?
Tujuan mereka tayangkan video ni adalah untuk menimbulkan keinsafan. Untuk memulihkan akhlak remaja.
Pada pendapat saya, tayangan video ni tak sesuai untuk kanak-kanak. Pertama; Kanak-kanak mempunyai tahap kefaham yang berbeza-beza. Ada yang faham mesej yang ingin disampaikn, dan ada juga yang hanya takut pada visual tersebut.
Kedua: Jika ingin diingatkan bahawa setiap kesalahan ada balasannya. Saya pasti ada lagi pendekatan lain yang boleh digunakan. Contohnya kisah-kisah zaman dahulu. Nilai moralnya dieksperimentasikan melalui cara yang dalam, tidak terlalu ekstrem.
Ketiga: Untuk mengingatkan tentang kematian, para ibu bapa juga memainkan peranan penting. Kalau nak suruh guru-guru saja untuk membetulkan akhlak remaja, saya rasa itu tidak mencukupi. Lagipn, ahklak buruk yang mana satu kamu maksudkan?Mencuri?Membunuh?Merogol?Menyamu?Entah-entah mereka ni tak pergi sekolah pun.
Keempat:Tayangan video ni mungkin lebih sesuai untuk mereka yang sudah matang. Sudah tahu baik buruk setiap tindakan.
Kelima: Bagi je org yg mmg dah berslh tgk.Huhuhu.
Dan tolonglah. Sy taknak video ni ditayangkan di sekolah rendah. Kesian anak-anak sy nnt.
